As soon as you find someone you love—don’t wait! After booking your venue (that’s priority #1), your photographer, planner (or day-of coordinator), and DJ should be next on the list. We tend to book up quickly, especially for those super popular dates, so the sooner the better to lock in your dream team!
Ideally, you’ll want to book your photographer about 9–12 months before your wedding—even earlier if you’re getting married during peak season or on a holiday weekend!

It depends on a few things—mainly the season and vibe you’re going for! Think about whether you want cozy fall leaves, spring blooms, or maybe a snowy winter session. Most engagement sessions happen on weekdays since weekends are usually packed with weddings. We’ll also want to factor in the location (indoor vs. outdoor), and the time of sunset, especially if we’re chasing that golden hour glow.

I usually recommend bringing two outfits—one a little dressy (think date-night chic), and one more casual and comfy. We’ll typically start with the dressier look while you’re still warming up to the camera, then switch to the more relaxed outfit as you loosen up and we get into the playful, candid stuff!
Make sure to dress for the weather (no one looks cute while freezing), and don’t be afraid to accessorize or bring props that show off your personalities—hats, jackets, champagne, your pup—let’s make it you!

My style is a mix of modern photojournalism and thoughtful direction. I love capturing moments as they naturally unfold—those candid, real, emotional shots—but I’ll gently step in when needed to adjust lighting, tweak a pose, or clean up a background to make sure everything looks clean and not distracting from the moment captured.
When it comes to editing, I keep things true to color with warm, natural tones. Overall, my work is organic, emotional, and detail-focused—telling your story in a way that feels both beautiful and real.

Think of me as your photographer, personal hype woman, emergency kit carrier, honorary bridesmaid, and low-key chaos coordinator—all rolled into one.
I’m there completely for YOU. My mission is to make your day feel as stress-free and magical as possible while capturing it all in a way that tells the story like a rom-com meets a documentary (with better lighting). I do my homework beforehand—thanks to detailed questionnaires and a well-thought-out timeline—so I can be in the right place at the right time!
I’m fun but firm with bridal parties—we’ll laugh, pose, and knock out those formal shots quickly so everyone can make a beeline to the bar where they belong. Then it’s time for my favorite part: sneaking you two away for some quiet, newly wed magic—just the two of you, soaking it all in while I capture it.
I’ll have my emergency kit on hand (yes, including fashion tape, bobby pins, sewing kit, Advil, tissues, deodorant and tampons too!), and if someone’s stressing you out, I will be your escape excuse. Need a breather? A tissue? A mini dance party to shake off nerves? I got you.
Basically, I show up with good vibes, a camera, and a mission: to help you have the best dang day ever—and look amazing while doing it.
